Synopsis:
Thicker Than Blood takes place in the 17th century era, it is a fictional world where humans co-exist with the demonic creatures of mythology. We follow the story of a young man named Salvador and his extraordinary experiences whilst serving as a royal soldier of The Five Crowns. A guild founded by the first five Nobles, whom centuries ago, released Pendulum City from the terrible reign of the vampire lord, Anubis. To this day, the royal soldiers continue to defend the city's populace against the demonic servants left behind by the vampire lord.

Sal absolutely has a point, and my heart goes out to poor Judah but this is a lesson he needs to learn. I'm wondering if this was something he was sort of forced into by his family or if it's the only alternative he had to make sure his family would be taken care of as far as money goes. It could go either way depending on whatever situation he came from. Family honor or monetary necessity.

Demon-hunters are usually born out of necessity because demons aren't exactly the cute and cuddly type one can just hang out with, even if their appearance says otherwise. Not all demons are obvious about their natures or mindless monsters, some are cunning and deceptive and if allowed to infiltrate a human society, unattended, the consequences could be very dire. If a demon-hunter doesn't have the guts to do what is necessary, when its necessary, then they're in the wrong line of work. Displaying cowardice or reluctance during a crucial moment may cost them their lives and other people's.

Sal is right. Eventually Judah is going to have to face horrible monsters, and if he doesn´t the nerves of steel to do what needs to be done; he will be destroyed. To further complicate things, many of his enemies will wear innocent disguises. If you want to live long in this line of work you need to put your feelings under lock and key.

I'm glad little Chupa got to live, I'm sad for Judah, but Sal has all the right to scream at him, especially since he is trying to man him up and the poor boy has no idea what's comming... plus Sal has seen hell so far..
