So anyways. After this has been sitting in my desk for a while, I decided to do a little more on it (it's not finished yet, incase you didn't realise haha). I was inspired to keep going after I saw this picture : [link]^^I wish I could draw like that. I originally wanted to do stippling but I got impatient and started smudging. I'm actually a really bad drawer if I do it heaps quickly, so I had to take my time with this one. The hair is really crappy because I got lazy, and as you can see I didn't finish a lot of her face (sorry, but I just wanted to upload it).
I am sooo sorry for jumping on the bandwagon and drawing something related to angelina jolie, but she's heaps nice to draw. I'll never draw again after this haha.

scanner, charcoal pencil, carbon pencil, pierre noir pencil, white pencil, finger, smudger, rubber & about 14 hours.

it's not that i'm necessarily 'a fan' of aj's although i suspect she is a coolish sort of person 
what drew me to comment was your "perspectively" written comment. here you say "you wished you draw like someone else" & here's me wishing i knew how sharpen a pencil or more explanatory perhaps, it reminded me of the story of the beggar who wished he were as rich as his neighbour who lived in a house along side the field in which he would sleep who in turn wished....blah, blah, blah, all the way to the king who wished he where the emperor & the emperor who wished he were a beggar & all because each thought being the other would somehow bring them the happiness they "didn't have"....
but it's just a story right?
....and these are just words right?

Thanks. Yeah, I don't usually draw with pencil and stuff so I thought I'd do an easy, symetrical face and that was the best model I could think of lol.
Infact I got one fav simply because they liked angelina jolie, so I guess in a way it worked in my favour lol. Thanks for the comment,

No but I'm pretty sure you can find a torrent for it. I bought the software for 500.00$ US. but for me it's worth it. I'm on a Imac apple computer. It's not always easy to find "free" softwares that works well if you know what I mean lol.

Yeah ! it's worth the cash but make sure that you have lots fo ram memory and a good computer because it will demand allot of memory to work your brush work. But with today's computers you should be fine. Then again...the more ram memory you have the better for you so ...yeah..

I haven't great reviews about vista.
For ram well it's getting cheaper everyday check it out. I was surprise myself. I'm boosting the ram in my computer in the following weeks.

You probably can if you are determined enough to sit down and work on it everyday, and spend atleast 20 hours on soemthing.
