Woodburned (or should I say nut-burned?) tagua nut of Sephiroth! Much cooler in real life, this photo does not do him justice.I used a Colwood burner on about medium-creeping toward high-heat. These nuts are very slow to burn and require a lot of patience. Something like this probably takes me at LEAST an hour, (or maybe it just feels like more?) what with all the small details that I have to be careful on and the switching out of nibs trying to figure out which one burns best. This is about an inch and a quarter in width and about an inch and three quarters in height. So it's pretty small.

Yes, I take commissions, and I am open to art trades! It will depend on the trade whether or not I'll accept it though.
As for commissions, prices for these woodburned nuts are $17-20 for a kanji with flowers ([link] ). For an animal or character like Sephiroth, they are negotiable and start at $25 because of the complexity, especially if I need to design the picture myself. The prices include shipping.
If you're interested in something I already have on file, the price will be less since I won't have to design and size something new. Something already in stock will be $13. Kanji and flowers that I have on file but not burned will be $15. Sephiroth will be $20 (including shipping), since he's very time consuming. Give me a few minutes, and I'll see if I can upload what I have...
