THE QUEEN IS DEAD, LONG LIVE THE QUEEN

Being a Princess is not an easy job. Being a Queen is even harder. Especially when you're only fourteen years old, and the reason you've inherited the throne is that your royal mother has just met an untimely end.
Now power is up for grabs. You may be the official heir, but much of the country's nobility would love to steal the throne for themselves. Aggressive neighbors will take advantage of any weakness to enlarge their borders at your expense. And that's not even mentioning the magical dangers which are lying in wait...

Well, the game mentions how there's death around every corner. What it DOESN'T mention is that it's perfectly possible to end up in an unwinnable scenario. I completely max out my princesses military knowledge and battle sense, and she loses the navel war because she couldn't climb up a rope to direct the fleet. AND she's maxed out all three of her magic stats, yet she loses all possible choices when she fights in a magic duel with the invading country's king (since he wants your symbotic spell stone), because she doesn't have ranks in DECORATION for her illusion spell, and doesn't have any ranks in FENCING when she creates a magic sword to rush him.Β 

And if you DON'T have your magic stats maxed up, you don't have a chance of MAKING those choices anyway! I'm boned.Β

I don't really understand why the magical girl outfit was chosen for the menu and the game's logo on Steam, since it doesn't really convey the theme of the game. I would have gone with the military outfit or the coronet, which I think represent LLTQ better. However, as far as mahou shoujo go, I love this design. It's one of the most original I've seen, and the art is fantastic. I keep looking at it!

Admittedly, I clicked on the picture while browsing your gallery because it was adorable. (Just had to get a closer look!)
