*WIP* - I only had a week to work on this and I lost sleep for an entire week, I only slept about 20 hours in 8 days and nights working on this and I feel I could have worked on it much longer, yet I had to stop at some point for it to be ready for the interview in the magazine. However, I WILL be working on this some more..

"Phoenix"
The Phoenix Ancient Greek, phoínix, Persian, Arabic,is a mythical sacred firebird that can be found in the mythologies of the Persians, Greeks, Egyptians, Chinese, and (according to Sanchuniathon) Phoenicians.
A mythical bird that is a fire spirit,often associated with the Sun, with a colorful plumage and a tail of gold and scarlet (or purple, blue, and green according to some legends). It has a 500 to 1000 year life-cycle, near the end of which it builds itself a nest of twigs that then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix or phoenix egg arises, reborn anew to live again. The new phoenix is destined to live as long as its old self. In some stories, the new phoenix embalms the ashes of its old self in an egg made of myrrh and deposits it in the Egyptian city of Heliopolis (literally "sun-city" in Greek). It is said that the bird's cry is that of a beautiful song. In very few stories they are able to change into people.

well.. lets just say that I started to work on this and when I let the mag know, they told me they were going to interview me with this piece, within a week, thus I only slept 20 hours in 8 days and nights in order to get it done, so yes, I did rush it, I had planned to take my time with it, yet apparently, with this specific piece, I worked better under pressure

Thank you Eric! Glad you like it, it's a little different than my other works yet I was ready to try something different. I have another different idea/concept in mind at the moment, yet I am waiting for my desktop to come back from the Technician. It is staying in my mind and won't go away thus I think I will still be inspired to execute it

You know how much I love this piece! From my comments on other sites! I know how much you put into it. Even though the time was short, it was a crush of time!!... Blood, sweat, and tears... Plus I am aware that when it is finally done, even though it is beautiful as it is now. I am sure I will love more, even as I do now...
