This must be the Bibliotheque Nationale de Francois Mitterand in Paris! It's one of my favourite places on earth

(i imagine you're laughing at me right about now...)
okay, so my awful attempts at french aside, this is amazing. i love the colours and the way the building dwarfs the lone person--it's a really fantastic take on architectural photography, and i enjoy it a lot. also, the clouds...just beautiful.

While I totally admit that this photo may not talk to you, I'd like to point out that its point of interest lies in the person walking below. There's a message conveyed, which tells that our creations are becoming inhuman, and then you could think that if our creation are a reflection of our society, maybe it's time to ask ourselves what matters?

ha! you think? I, on the other hand, think it always has been time for us to ask ourselves these questions...it's in our nature to want to know, to want to understand. neither that modern building, nor the time in which we live aren't at all what make me want to question the significance of life. what does is something that comes from within, it is timeless, spaceless and universal for man. That is why for me your little idea conveyed within a reflection of matter does not stand out from its hiding place at all.
A wonderful capture, yes. My eye is atracted by the man in a black suit standing at the base of his creation, looking so small that you would never think he is the creator of such grandious things, yet to me it just symbolises "The Tragedy of Creators", of any creators outshadowed by the product of their own minds.
