Trying gradient meshes. Not got the hang of it yet, this is just small stuff.I've started a liquid series. At least that's what I tell myself. If you look close you will see the droplets. I figure start small and work my way up.

You might want to add a droplet falling off of a grass blade or somesuch. Otherwise, well done. I like the gradient effect within the flower.

Oh, I don't think they have an actual "mesh tool" class but I would think it'd be included in an Illustrator class ^_^ I learned Pen Tool in a Basics Class.

The simplicity of it is really beautiful.
I know the frangipani itself is the subject, but if you left more whitespace at the top, it would make the whole piece look a lot better.
