This one is because I'm on the Alliance. If I were on the Horde, I'd get a red version of it. May not LOOK extremely rare, but it's one of the rarest mounts in the game as of right now.

As of this moment, no. Once I do get it, though, I'll be able to ride it in regions where flying mounts can be used(which is restricted to Northrend and Outlands right now). Once Cataclysm, the next expansion comes out, though, I'll be able to use it anywhere.
