Description The Little Flower and The Tiger
by ilduceGN

A small group from squad 5 was sent out to do a little recon in Hueco Mundo. Seeing that things were at bay, they began heading back. 4 hours in Hueco Mundo, they kept a sharp eye on any hollows that threatened them. However not many attacked. Most were either keeping their distant, or ran off.
As they neared a collapsed pillar, things got rather quiet. Then they began sensing a heavy force of spiritual pressure near by, but was all around them. All drew their zanpakuto’s ready for a fight, but then suddenly came an explosion near by. Before they could defend themselves, three soul reapers lost their heads in one swing from a black halberd. Out of the debris of the explosion, the halberd drew back, and a hand shot out and fired a cero blast at two more.
One managed to leap out of the way, but the other was obliterated. “Run for it,” cried out a female, and then a male added, “It’s an arrancar!” Out of the debris, an arrancar walked out smirkingly with the halberd over his shoulder. The arrancar then laughed, “Where ya going? Ain’t gonna get back me for killing ya friend’s!” As the group ran off in terror, the arrancar disappeared into a sonido.
Suddenly he appeared again in front of the group, and his halberd impaled two more through the mid section. “Well that’s fine with me, as long as I get a fight out of this.” he sneered chucklingly. Three went out to fight him from the blind spots, to which he fought them by hand. Taking that chance the rest ran off swiftly, and opened a garganta. The one who opened, it told for everyone to get in and hurry.
As they all went in, one was about to head in but saw the one who opened it, staring off to where the arrancar was. “Come on lets go, Mya!” said a male soul reaper. The young woman he called Mya, turn quickly and ordered, “Leave now, if he want’s a fight I’ll give him one!”
“Are you crazy, you can’t fight that thing.”
“I don’t care, I’m not going back yet.”
“You’ll die!”
“Better than to go back, and be the punching bag of Tenzin Ishiyama and Captain James Ichimaru. Now get out of here!” ordered Mya, again as she turned away from the male.
Biting his lip he followed the order, but added in, “Fine, but if you don’t come back in ten minutes, I’m bringing help.” The garganta closed, and Mya began heading back down.
Two down and the last tried once more to get at the hollow, but as he struck forth the hollow caught his face and crushed it, killing him instantly. Dropping the body to his feet, he sighed stretching about. “God that was too easy,” he chuckled, taking out a jug from his top, “10 years and still all they do is run, but when they fight I cut them down in just a minute.” Popping it open and taking a few gulps from it, he exhaled with delight, “Nothing like the taste of wine after a kill.” Feeling a presence behind him, his eyes veered to the left, as he added, “Ain’t that right, shinigami?”
Looking over his shoulder he saw Mya standing there with her big golden, amber eyes glaring at him. She stood at 5’5, young looking in the face with fair skin, and chin-length purple hair with a bluish hue. Around her neck she wore a ocean blue scarf, that had the tails at the back, and her zanpakuto’s sheath was yellow with black stripes.
She remained silent as he turned around putting the jug back into his top. “Tch, one of them silent types finally showing up to beat me. I give you credit for being a little cliche about it.” he smirked mockingly. In her silence she continued to glare, and watched as he went to get his halberd left with two people impaled on it still.
Appearing as a light skin toned, tall man of 6’5 in his early 30’s. He wore a different style mostly worn by arrancars, and was certainly more colorful. Wearing mostly white kosode top with red and white cherry blossom crest at the collar and the sleeves. Over it was a blue with gold edged cuirass, with a spiked pauldron attached, and covering his left shoulder. Legs were clad in purple sashinuki hakama that gathered at the ankles with floral designs of golden peach blossoms, tied by a green sash at his waist and wearing flat pointed ankle-high boots.
Picking up the halberd by the pike end, he gave it a good fling and the body’s flew off the the pole. He then began heading back towards Mya. His gold amber eyes clad over with a magenta stripe going a cross his eye-lids, staring back at hers. With the wind picking up it swayed about his mid-back length white hair and short bangs. On both his cheeks he had his mask fragments flare out a bit from the sides, and they met by a thin strip at the base of the chin.
He then stopped not far from her and asked, “So you wanna challenge me unlike your-” “Shove it.” Mya cut him off, with a growl. Placing the end of the shaft into the ground, he leaned in with a shocked glance.
“Struck a nerve?”
“No. I just have 9 minutes to beat you.”
“Why such a hurry,”
“Cause then it won’t be any fun killing you! I’ll show them all that I don’t need help!”
“Heh,” chuckled the hollow, “I admit I like that spirit, what’s your name, little flower?” Mya answered, drawing her blade, “It’s Mya Gozen, and please keep the compliments to yourself. Whoever you are?” “Just call me Takashi.” he said, with a smile hoisting up his weapon. Mya smirked, for a sec and then vanished into flash step to which Takashi swung his halberd behind him. Catching Mya with surprise he blocked her strike from behind and then jabbed forward.
Mya began dodging back from the pike end. Until she batted away the halberd and went for a strike. Only to have her blade caught in Takashi’s hand, smirkingly. But she took this to her advantage, jumping in the air, and double kicking him to the face, and then sending a chop for his neck. Catching her arm, he flung her away to a hard landing.
With a howl of laughter, Takashi launched into the air and came down for a pierce. Mya swiftly rolled out of the way, but got yanked back by Takashi’s hand grabbing her hair. Holding back a shriek, Mya went for an upper cut only to miss Takashi’s face, but with the added momentum she launched her legs up and caught his head between them. With a jab to his wrist, the hand let go of her hair, and she fired a shokkiho into the ground lifting both into the air. Flipping herself over, tossing Takashi down, she flew in yelling with yellow reshi flaring around her fist, “Fist of the demon king!”
Takashi was struck hard into the mid-section knocking the wind out of him, as he flew fast into the ground like a meteor. Mya flipped twice in the air and landed not far from the crater, kicking her zanpakuto back into her hands. Takashi just laid in the crater a bit confused for the moment there, until he saw the little figure of Mya leaping into the air, and coming down for a stab. Trying to get over the blurriness, he tried to think of something to use then it hit him. He through out both hands to fire some balas, but before he could perform it, he caught Mya.
Amazingly her blade missed him, a few inches atop his scalp. But why she wasn’t reacting to that, he thought was strange. Shaking his head, he re-opened his eyes to see Mya’s eyes pale, and a blush form across her face. Takashi looked at her puzzlingly and the noticed that where he caught her most definitely was the problem. Both his hands each had caught her by her bosom.
So soft, and cushion like to the touch, they were just perfect. Looking back up Takashi, gave an evil and yet perverted smile. Mya shook her head, almost pleadingly but Takashi ignored it. Thus he gave them a tight clenching squeeze, making Mya screech in pain. Then to add salt to the wound, he swiftly flicked her on the forehead, which sent her flying out of the crater.
Takashi swiftly got up and launched up to the craters edge to see Mya squirming on the ground, painfully rubbing her bosom. Takashi chuckled, a little as he flung her sword back to her, “Damn girl, who gifted you with such fine perky C’s?” “Shut the hell up, pervert! Why on earth would you do that!” she angrily whimpered. Takashi just laughed, wondering off to get his weapon once again, “You're lucky to have even acquired a decent yet small size, little flower.” Taking her sword in hand, and with a yell she charged in again.
Takashi sighed, leaping into air over her charge. But she was persistent, as she leapt up after him. He sonido’d from her slash, to which she flash stepped ready to slash again. Going here and there the two clashed. Takashi blocked the slashes with his bare arms, and Mya kept on striking with blade and legs.
Mya went in for a stab, but Takashi dodged with ease and then downward kicked her back to the ground. After he flew in and caught his halberd, he was met again with Mya’s blade grinding against the pole, causing sparks. Takashi took a swift kick to her midsection, and jumped back. Then charge forth with swings and pierces. Mya dodged most, but got caught in the hook end, and was flailed like a whirlwind until launched off by a quick jerk, and a kick to her side. Flying through the air, Mya flipped quickly and fired a barrage of shakkaho’s, but Takashi counter it laughingly while firing bala’s.
With all the dust from the colliding attacks and explosions, Mya disappeared into a flash step. While Takashi simply smiled, and began walking forward with his halberd pike drawing a line to the side. He then asked, “What’s wrong, bit off more then you could chew?” “Hah, still got 6 minutes.” chuckled Mya’s voice somewhere.
“Doing good so far, little flower. But boredom is gonna set in soon.”
“Sorry bout that, I just don’t think you like fighting kido types.”
“Any fighters good, though you don’t come across as a kido type.”
“My shikai is some what like that.”
“Hmph, don’t sound bad. Luckily I ain’t in my ressurecion.”
“Heh, you ain’t that much of a dick, which I thank you for!” Mya laughed, nervously. Takashi kept on a walking looking for her reishi. Hiding behind a boulder, catching her breath and trying to come up with strategy, Mya kept her ears open for his foot steps. Takaski replied, “You're welcome, but should you drive my boredom any longer.”
Stopping and turning toward the boulder with curiosity, he raised the halberd for a strike. “I’ll make you suffer!” he yelled, as he cleaved the boulder in half only to find nothing behind it. Caught with surprise he heard a flash step to his side, and saw Mya do a quick-draw slash cutting into him. With a growl of anger, he lunged forth only to miss her, as she leapt out of the way. With his side cut and running red, his eyes flared and he went into a sonido.
Mya then reappeared on the collapsed pillar from before, and reishi began building up around her. Holding the hilt in her right and the blade in her left, she called out, “Light the way, Amaterasu!” With a gust of wind, and disappearing into a swirl of golden reishi. Seeing that Takashi came charging toward the pillar at astonishing speed. Soon a slash ripped through the reishi, and Mya took too the sky with her zanpakuto in shikai.
In her hands now were two blade like folding fans, of gold with black edges. Takashi launched forth into the air as well, aiming for her chest. However Mya with a grace, dodged the attack, and raked the side of his face upon him passing, with one fan. Upon both landing, he fired a cero between three curled fingers at her. Swiftly she dodged, as he began firing two more.
Dodging them all, she slashed away at the last cero blast’s side, taking some of the built up reishi, and as she clasped the fan that slashed, she fired a golden cero-ish blast back at him. Quickly Takashi whirled his halberd between his hands in front of him, and tried to block the cero. Getting dragged across the desert he finally came to a stop, with burns on his body. He then snarled to the oncoming Mya as she leaped into the air, and with a closed fan drew out the kanji for fire, and thus from the glowing letters flew out a tongue of flames.
Takashi lept out of the way, and quickly dodged the incoming slash from the fans, and then swung forth. Mya ducked under, and took as slash for his wrist and then a high kick for his face. Knocked back by the kick, Takashi was sent back down to the ground with Mya after him. As she went in for another slash, Takashi swat away her attack, and grabbed her by the throat. Then tightened his grip, forcing her to gasp, as he swirled over and flew down slamming her head first into the ground.
Unknowingly to him, her fans flew off and would return shortly like boomerangs. With Mya choking up hard, and her head bleeding from the impact, Takashi licked his lips of the blood that splatter from Mya.. “3 minutes to go… And you're going down, just when it was getting good!” cackled Takashi. Mya was struggling to loosen his grip, but with all the pain inside she was growing fatigue. Then suddenly the fans whirled in and landed near Mya’s head, and Takashi let go shouting in pain.
Both sides of his neck were slit open by the fans, trying to cover them up the blood ran through his fingers. Cursing in pain, he stomped about as Mya struggled to crawl away and get some footing. Fighting away the daze, and catching her breath, she wiped away some blood from sight, and looked to Takashi. Closing her eyes she began swaying the fans with grace, and flowing into a dance, as her reishi began rising again. Takashi shook his head, and drew a rage filled glanced to Mya.
“Time is nearly up, and your dancing…!” he growled, with blood flowing from his lips with a sadistic smirk, “I’ll take it you're finally giving up. Well let me obliged to it!” He then took a stance and an orb of a cero began building between three of his fingers. Mya did not stir away from her dance, as the area around her began glowing. Takashi roared as he fired a powerful cero toward Mya, and thus she still did not falter. The cero struck, a hard force surrounding Mya and it began swirling around as if being absorbed into Mya.
Takashi eyes widen as he fired another blast but it too was absorbed, and he was lost in the moment. “Everyone said, ‘I couldn’t do it. You’re nothing more than a weakling needing a team with you, and shall always be the punching back of James Ichimaru and Tenzin Ishiyama.’ But like my sisters Cecilia and Natalia before me, I shall overcome anything that is thrown at me.” she said, as her eyes reopened to a burst of golden reishi all around her and spreading like flames.
Takashi took many steps back, as the reishi flickered before him. She then added, “The dance of absorption, is my special ability allowing me to absorb all that I need while under perfect concentration. Now be the first to witness my shikai’s finishing move!” Takashi started walking forth with his flesh being burnt by the reishi, but he ignored it, as he kept walking with a snarl.
Clapping her closed fans twice together, she hovered  into the air, and threw out the fans, and they glowed with a trail forming a large circle with her in the center. Then the fans flew about swiftly forming many, many, symbols of kanji. Thus with a clap of her hands the fans flew back into her hands, and the kanji all formed into one big symbol.
Takashi still in rage, kept on moving forward, as he gave a taunt, “You think that’ll stop me, an Arrancar! Go on then, bring me everything you have, show me what I should fear from a little flower like you!” Taking his ground and ready for the strike, he just cackled like a maniac. “Amaterasu’s wrath!” shrieked Mya, as she slashed an X into the symbol. With that the flames of reish were all sucked into the circle, and in a brief second of a sonic boom, the symbol glowed brightly and fired a massive blast of goldish white energy.
Takashi continued cackling as the blast collided with him. Trying his hardest to hold back the blast his feet were dragged on through the sand. Not giving up he pushed on through, but soon realised he was losing faster by the second. Before the blast finished it’s trek and collided with the pillar, in a massive explosion. Takashi yelled out, with laughter, “Ah ha ha ha! A tiger defeated by a little flower, that’s a laugh!”
Thus as the explosion, shook the ground, and billowed into the sky. Mya fell to her knees, out of breath, and massively drained of her reishi. “Times… Up… I… Wi-” was all she could let out before collapsing on the ground, with her zanpakuto back in it’s sealed form. Just as that happened a garganta opened near by and three soul reapers came out followed by a group of others.
The one in front was Captain James Ichimaru of squad 3, behind him was Tenzin Ishiyama and Amekuro Yamamoto. Over looking the area where the one guy told them to look, they found Mya face down before the large trail left by the blast, leading to a burning inferno. “What the heck happened?” asked Tenzin. James shook his head, “No idea. Whatever it was we just missed it.” He then asked what was the condition of Mya.
Amekuro answered with a sigh, “Still alive, but has lost a heavy dose of reishi.” “So where’s the Arrancar then,” pondered James looking all about. Suddenly a soft voice spoke out, “Dead!” All saw Mya’s eyes half-opened, and she repeated, “Takashi is dead… I used… The finisher on him.”
All went silent for a minute, and then all cheered with laughter. James crouched beside her and smirked, “What made you go and do a crazy thing like that?” “I couldn’t go back… Not again to be seen as a weakling… I wanted to show you that I can handle myself.” she said with grief, “Also to avenge the ones he killed of the group.” Amekuro just shook her head, with a face to palm. Tenzin joined in with a tone of worry, “Dammit Mya, you could have gotten killed.”
“Oh please, like being bashed around by Ichimaru’s bankai wasn’t bad enough.” scoffed Mya.
“At least he don’t aim to kill, moron.”
“Oh and yet your fiancee does!” Mya glared at Amekuro, who was giggling with an evil glance from her orange eyes. Tenzin replied, rolling his eyes, “You know it’s merely to tease in her own sort of way.” Getting a chuckle here and there from the others, Mya just crossed her arms in a huff.
“The things I put up with to be your companion all these years, and this is all I get in return.” she grumbled. Tenzin shot back, “Hey I let you be my sister after all!”
“Tch, heart is still healing from when you broke it a month ago.”
“Ugh!” Tenzin palmed his face, in annoyance, “You had it coming, blunt as it is but you can move on.” Mya was about to jump in with a reply, but was silenced by James patting her head, ruffling her hair. “You guys, talk too much,” sighed James, shaking his head as he rose up, “alright everyone let’s head on back.” With that Mya was put into a stretcher and carried off with the rest. As they all left, they were watched from afar by another Arrancar.
A female one, simply watched them all enter the Garganta and it closed. “Tch, James Ichimaru.” turning away she walked down a dune. Looking to a familiar male Arrancar, she spoke in a cold tone, “Your lucky that I swooped in and saved you, Takashi.” “Heh, heh,” chuckled Takashi, as his whole body seemed to have been chard up quite badly by the blast, “I was right, you do have a soft spot for me!” To that she purposely stepped on his hand.
With a holler of pain, Takashi grabbed his hand trying to rub away the sore. “Damn it, Isabella! I was kidding.” he groaned, as Isabella sat down beside him with a scowl. After a few moments Takashi just sighed, and said, “It hurts my pride as the tiger, but… I’m grateful you got me outta there.” Isabella was silent. To that Takashi moved his head about looking around.
Then Isabella gave a slight giggle, with smile. “Putting herself up to fight you,” she began remembering the fight, “knowing full well she could have died, but continued through to prove that she would bring you down, in order gain respect with her fellow shinigami.” Takashi stretched out his arms with a yawning groan, “What you going on about?” “I’m saying, she reminds me a lot of you.” answered Isabella. Takashi just laughed, and shook his head, “She’s on a lower scale than me, just getting lucky with that finisher.”
However his laugh soon ended, and he smiled to the ground. “But… As much as I try to deny it, you’re right, Avarian.” he remarked, looking to the sky, “We both put our lives on the line to fight something with little chance of coming back. Simply to be stronger, and to simply not fade into the background.” To that Isabella gave a warm smile to him, and then looked to the sky with him.
