Thanks for all your support and for staying with me. When I started this deviant back in January I really wasn’t very good at painting. I still don’t consider myself to be – but if this pace continues I’ll hopefully be able to produce something worthwhile by this time next year. Chances are high that I will say exactly the same thing next year too though – but we’ll see!
I’m leaving for Japan in two days, and I’ll be gone for roughly a month. When I’m away I tend to go 100% offline and won’t have wi-fi nor even a laptop with me where I’m going, so this is the last update for the year (and until I get back)

By studies I mean that they are painted while I have a reference photo up on my second monitor, and try to get as close as possible within a set time limit (generally 1-2 hours, though some in there took considerable more time).
Once I’m back I’ll go back to my usual pace of one painting per week so don’t leave me just yet.
