As some of you know I started doing a sketch a day on my blog [link]I´ve been doing it for 21 days now
So í´ll start posting some of the best sketches here as I go.

There is a fair amount of detail in this piece, to just say it is a sketch. You have simply just drawn the subjects face and added line detail for the hair. The small amount of sketch on the hair can be rather disheartening as you have in my opinion half done it although you have chosen to do that with the hair other details on the face are in a soft greyscale, e.g. lips, teeth, lining on lower face, nose. When you get to the eyes you get to the darker scale of grey and almost seems black in colour, due to this sudden change with the colours as an observer i am naturally drawn to the eyes, the reason why i feel you have briefly line drawn the hair is to not distract from the eyes. The detail in the eyes in my sense is essential as it adds personality to a character or subject but the eyes in this piece are especially crucial as the chosen title for this piece is 'Beautiful lie' and a most famous saying would be you know whether a person is lying or not by looking into their eyes.
Over all this piece contains a heavy impact and as you look to it over and over and for a long period of time, you find more features of this piece you will come to adore.

You really nailed pretty much my whole intention for this piece.
It was all about the eyes, everything else is merely their to give it a relatable human form.

well a lovely piece such as that demanded attention, and critique is a way of not only helping the artist but to also help fellow observers to take in another view of the art, your piece was lovely and i enjoyed giving it a critique
