WAR10CK Hacker Log No: 13-523-11
Just recently cracked my way into a system located in a remote facility on the Planet Venelia. Current status is listed as a level 5 warning is in effect in Sector 3. Quarantine Lockdown Protocols are in effect. The entire sector is sealed off due to the Quarantine. No one in or out.
I am currently trying to access the Containment Door controls but they are locked out. The only way to open the door is by a manual override code. According to the Archived Security Footage for Sector 3 it appears something went horribly wrong and the scientists lost control.
Looking at the Research File for this thing, it is no wonder why they had to seal the sector. The place has been completely trashed. The door has scratch marks on it. It looks like it tried to get through the closing door. Whatever they did was obviously the same mistake my people made.
Man I should have went public with it rather then just cover it up. I am going to declassify the file right now.

Yeah, that was the effect I was going for. Lots of creepy details that make a whole picture, but that you have to really take a moment to notice. My players soon found out what was behind the door and their resolution was to call in an orbital bombardment by meteors...that was after they realized evacuating the planet wasn't practical.
