i'm confused on what Pb was going to say in the middle right panel, and exactly what she is doing to Finn's arm and why Pb kept telling herself to not ask Finn about his mother.

Pb may not want Finn to go and try to find his mother; the search for his father was a total mess, and the only good thing that came out of it was that the Lich is no longer a threat.

Let us all spare a few moments of silence for Finn's Grass Sword. It was a good sword. It served him well for whatever short time they had, fighting and supporting him wherever he needed it. Even in their final moments, it tried it's best to obey his wishes.
Farewell, Grass Sword. Let there be a person in cosmos awesome enough to be your next partner.

Illeity likes to slip in references to other shows/movies/books in his art, especially if he can draw parallels between things that happen in two different series.
He's put nods to Bioshock, Justice League, Gravity Falls, Recess, Futurama, Shakespeare, Mass Effect, even a few songs into various prologues/epilogues. And those are just the ones I remember off the top of my head.

Okays, panels four five and six. Amazing Idea how Finn's flower arm protects him. And HOLY COW PB might be his mother possibly maybe. Okays, panel nine. First off, poor, poor Prismo. Another reason to want to punch the Lich in the face. But the Lich is adorable now, so I wont punch him in the face. Back to panel nine. HOLY COW Ice king will turn back into simon petrikov and then die! *Sob*
Maybe PB was human before and then had to turn into bubblegum for some reason, then Martin got all sad because she left him and started being a jerk, and left Finn in the woods.

Well, she could have encased her child into amber or something like that because Martin or whatever his name got captured. And then she let him go for some reason or he got captured but then was abandoned. ITS POSSIBLE.
Wait, but if Finn was Shoko, then maybe PB tried to clone Shoko and accidentally got Finn and Martin helped her so Finn was technically "their child"

Maybe, if it's possible to get a human when cloning something that isn't, I wouldn't know.
Also, I'm not sure if PB would be someone to commit incest? She was fine with the idea of dating Finn when she was turned into a thirteen year old. Maybe she lost control of being with her son and then regained her senses when she was 18 again, but, I don't think so.

OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH Those two episodes were REALLY intense. One thing is established, Finn's Dad is a jerk. And poor, poor Prismo! I really wish he hadn't died.
This comic is great, as usual! So glad your back to drawing adventure time! Excellent backstory, lots of hidden meanings. ANd I love, love, love the last panel. WHO AWESOME? YOU AWESOME! Thanks for being awesome.

I was curious what you were going to do after that episode. I think you did an outstanding job drawing the cosmic Owl, seriously good job! It was a real jaw dropping first episode to be honest. Once again, the show did not disappoint! Nor did you, your fans continue to await future comics

PBs section confuses me...wouldn't the knife break AFTER she stabs Finns plant thing? Not before? Like, it looks like PB was testing if the flower would protect him from harm, and then the knife broke and flew back into her face. Except the panels are backwards. Does anybody else see that?

Something that really attracted my attention is that Death declared to be afraid of the Lich; a creature whose commitment is to exterminate life, just like himself. What do you think about that?

Ah, but Death isn't an inherently evil entity-merely the personification of a natural occurrence.
I think of him more like the Death from the Discworld series. He doesn't seek to end life, but is merely more of a ferryman, escorting the souls of the already dead to the other side. Without him, people wouldn't stop dying, but the whole process would be a lot messier without someone to see things go smoothly. He's just a guy with a job to do.
The Lich, on the other hand, is more like the personification of destruction and oblivion. He is the culmination of all the hatred and evil thoughts born by the entirety of mankind. Born out of the ultimate weapon (the Mushroom Bomb), he seeks to finish the bomb's work by utterly annihilating all life in the universe. He is the cold hand of oblivion, of the end of all things. Even Death wants nothing to do with that.

But, what if Death simply decided to refuse to take the souls the Lich eliminates? Or the Lich can kill without the Death´s consent?

Well, to compare it to a similar work I've seen where Death was fired, the souls of the dead didn't go back to their bodies or become any less dead. They merely were suspended in a sort of limbo, being unable to move back to their mortal coils or forward to whatever lies beyond death.
Long story short, if the Death in Ooo works similar to that concept, people don't stop dying just because he doesn't do his job. The process just gets a whole lot messier is all.

That's... A good question actually. Seeing as he's deathless, I'm not sure if he can technically be killed or not. I know Marceline has exploitable weaknesses that would allow her to die/be killed, and I recon Hunson does too, but I'm honestly can't say about Death.
Not that it would stop the Lich from trying, I'm sure.
