I took this photo of some lovely little toadstools a few months back. I didn't really know what to do with it but have since figured it out. Has some contrast/brightness filters and a high pass filter over the top to just enhance the lighting ever so slightly. I love fungi, they always look very pretty. Hope you like it!Related content

Love how you did the blur. The picture itself is very, very nice! But i would of loved to see the front of the log more with all the other mushrooms! Basically tone down on the blur a bit.
The resolution is pretty good but it could be better! next time, try focusing the camera more.
Basically, Work on the strategic blurring and try focusing a bit more.
overall i give it a 6-7 out a 10.

Thank you for the critique. There wasn't a lot more I could do with the photo. I realise it is a little blurry in spots, however it was an effect I was going for. The focus of the photo is on the single toadstool in the center with the rest adding colour to the background. Didn't work perfectly I'll admit.
As to bringing it back more, there weren't really any more mushrooms further down the log.
Anyway, yeah it is pretty blurry, I did try using some post-work to enhance the sharpness of the image but it just made it look grainy and took away from the dreamy effect I was going for. I never expected it to be a decent photo so I'm happy with the result I got from it. Thanks for the critique though. I am in process of learning so any feedback is nice

I love it! I was attracted to the colours before the form but mushrooms are just so darn cute. It's a really nice depth of field effect too. Well done!!
