Description
This is a scene from a TV show that I wrote that I am now turning into a book. A young druid, Diyara, is forced to in a secret compartment by her adopted family so that she will survive during the ensuing massacre. She can hear their screams as they are murdered and silently weeps, trying not to make a sound or their sacrifice to let her survive will be pointless.
