This story is part of a long series called Maelstrom. It is strictly Gen. 1 - sorry, but that was all that was out when I started writing. If you have not read the nine original Maelstrom Comics and the preceding text stories, I strongly suggest you do. Each scene is posted in 20 page increments, which is the most DA will allow me at this time. If anyone knows how to get longer text files posted as a whole please let me know. Elita Part C
The following day, Elita surveyed the various members of the command staff and tried to decide who to start with. Jazz was the most visibly upset, but in a way that seemed more healthy to Elita than what Magnus and Rodimus were doing. Elita didn’t have much experience with humans but she didn’t sense that Marissa really needed any help. The female Autobot decide.

Of all the Autobots on my little council of ranking bad-asses this is the one you want to piss of the least.

Of course getting on any of their bad sides is not going to to well for you. You don't want to tick off Optimus...because he's Optimus. Ditto for Ultra Magnus naturally. Optimus has a merciful side though, and Magnus plays by the rules, so MAYBE you can find a way out. Jazz drops things eventually.

My version of Rodimus is problematic. He's an assassin...he's prone to the occasional psychotic break. If you're lucky he'll kill you quickly. If you're unlucky, well, it may take a while for him to get bored with you.

He will though. Eventually.

Elita is different. She's not insane, and she's been through so much it's very, very hard to get under her proverbial skin. If you somehow manage that though - if you somehow break her patience and make her decide she's your enemy she simply will not stop. This femme kept her team alive on a world without allies or resources for millions of years. Determined is an epic understatement. She's resourceful, brilliant, and utterly ruthless if need be.

She just found out about the Jabez, and how Vector Sigma manipulated the war to hold them at bay. She just found out everything she and Optimus have done since Ariel jumped on Megatron (and let's not forget who attacked Megatron first) has been part of Vector Sigma's plan to keep the war going. All the death, all the millions of years of famine and fear, all scripted and unnecessary.

Makes ya feel almost sorry for the bad guys doesn't it?

The blue shadows are foreshadowing her assassin's colors. OOO...deeep. Heh. Or maybe I was just that sick of the damned pink.
