Here's yet another color insert - this one from Maelstrom Issue 6, again colored by my roomie at the time. She and I had very different styles when it came to color work, and I thought it got a bit murky, although I was very happy with it over all. I'd like to redo it, but I am also trying to catch up with half a million other projects...and this one I'm having a hard time finding the line work for.

Sometimes I think I should rename this one "Spot the Transformer." They are getting pretty lost. However, this piece won the art contest at the Men-In-Black Botcon in Chicago. When was that...? 93? Geez...that was before the Hartmans even. God...I'm old. I got the exclusive toy in the black and silver box for that. whoo-hoo. Heh. We had nerf wars in the hotel and heckled the movie. I think the Hasbro reps were a bit stunned at how much fun grown people were having with this silly cartoon....I don't think they realized.
