I went down to the playground the other day, just for a random walk with my sister. It's amazing how time flies and you get past these things. Simple little ladders and climbing frames, all of which seem tiny and mundane now.

I'll always have a soft-spot for swings though. I like swings, they're still good fun.

Tonight was a cracker sunset, half the sky went red and seeing it unfold from my home, I just grabbed my camera, grabbed the nearest car keys to the door and bolted for somewhere to shoot.

I ended up down by the waterfront park, and got a bunch of photos I was quite pleased with. Unfortunately, I messed up a few settings that I'd been experimenting with on the camera and most of them weren't as good as I'd been anticipating. I think I can apply a little post-processing and get some up to uploadable standard, but this one first because it's completely un-shooped. This looks a bit different from several angles on my LCD monitor, so I hope it's ok.

For some reason I've been ditching the borders on a couple of my recent photos... I just can't find one that works with it. Rather odd for someone who's so obsessive over borders, but I suppose things change with time...

PS. I put this into a nice, widescreen wallpaper size, thanks to constant moaning from a certain IRL friend of mine that photos are useless unless they're in wallpaper format.
