trying to do a collab beauty & the beast fairy tale piece next with issac...
this is not based off of disney's version of course, since that one is copy righted. xD
this is my own take on belle - which is still very loose. I looked some french gowns - which varies alot, but the flowing arm sleeves, slightly concave bust line, bows/frills on the bodice, and a giant gown seem prevalent through the era.

i hope her hair-net-ish hair things are in line with the era. c:

the rose is in the original story - not as the lifeline of beast - but the reason why belle's father angered the beast in the first place.

i will probably pencil in an outline of the beast behind her in a semi-prowling pose. Alot of the older illustrations done for this story portray him as kind of a wild-boar, which i dont really like. Disney went with a more lion-ish, big mane type, which is more cuddly. xD
I think a werewolf-type look would be good for beast.
There is no physical description of him in the original story, he's just an 'ugly and terrifying Beast'.
I'm sure we'll come up with something good. C:

i would like a rose bush somewhere on the picture, and their castle as the backdrop - we'll see how my big plans turn out. XD
