{CLEMENTINE}

The day was quiet though it's weather attached was a hot one. The evening seemed to be arriving and among the silence, Clem was resting in a decent spot of shade overlooking the land for off in the distance. Summer season had its presence well known in the golden dust terrain, however, the sound of scorched toes traveling, something odd that the dark wolf sometimes strained her ears to listen for were not heard, at least not at the moment. Clementine sat among the loose earth and breathed in a deep sigh. Her toes twitched and wiggled as she felt restless though did her best to not let her appearance show such. She was troubled with the news. The pack she had found and been welcomed to, grew smaller and smaller as time passed, a part of her felt scared and the other part wondered if she wanted to follow the hunt with the others. She would not be alone if she traveled with those that remained. Maybe her fear was with a heavy heart, She would once again become a stranger in the unknown. Though being alone was not something she minded too much, it was where to go, to stray away, or follow a familiar one's steps. Clementine just wasn’t sure. Stuck in thought she continued to ponder what she should do.

{NYSIEN}

The cavernous home of Duskveil had never felt so empty. By the time the Delta had returned from his journey to Fellfang, almost all of the tribe had dispersed, their tracks following after the now stale scent of deer.
He swore that the heat was worse - or maybe he was just gone long enough to forget about the familiar extremities?
Panting and hungry - for the once semi-bountiful hunting spots had been barren - Nysien searched in a panic for Fawzie, who must've left in the evening to avoid the heat.
He thought she was the only one left - he was alone.
”VARGAS!!”
Came his anguish-ridden cry, why didn't he wait for him? Wick was still out there! Where was Captain Sheranee?! Where was ANYONE?!
Panicked and hot from the beaming sun, Nysien whimpered as he tucked into whatever shade he could find...
And within the shadows, he had found.
"Clementine..." Nysien had recognized her immediately, and for the first time since he'd returned, a grin stretched across his tear-stained face.

{CLEMENTINE}

Clementine's thoughts had taken their hold away from her current reality until she felt she had picked up on her name as if carried off by the wind.
"...Now I’m hearing voices.” She gritted her teeth and scowled at herself, Clementine was about to cover her ears until she moved her head and found the familiar honey blonde. She squinted her gray eyes slightly before hopping off of her feet. Glad was she that he was not an illusion. “Nysien! Captain of the hunt!"She barked at the top of her lungs."You’re still here! You’re still here!”Her eyes grew shiny with tears as she felt relief. "I thought you had left along with Vargas and the others.”

{NYSIEN}

The dark girl's expression had become clearer as the comfort of the shade saved his eyes from the sun. It was too much - the way she cried out his name, the disbelief in her deep gray eyes.
Nysien whimpered, pierced ears drawing to a pin - the gold male would wrap his neck around his friend in an embrace, knowing in the back of his mind that this may be the last time.
"No, dear, I-"he'd clear his throat from a cracking voice, "I'm still here.."
The male would nuzzle into the fur of Clementine's neck, taking in her unique scent of lavender and cedar. She was all he had left now of Damasca now.
"How I've missed you so.."
How it would kill him to tell her goodbye. He'd miss her the most.
