Your blushing, faceup and tattoo skills are fabulous, and it makes your work a real inspiration! He looks amazingly realistic. Love the small-irised eyes, too. That helps the illusion of reality a lot. Where did you find them?
The lines of his hair do good things for the composition, the texture of the skull versus his skin and hair is visually pleasing, and the halo works well, intentional or not-- it continues the paleness of the skull around his face to help make it look balanced and keep his face the focus! (I'm curious what happened to make it do that by accident, though!)
