Background shading does a good job conveying the mood, the whited out eyes also helps make the expression seem more intense.
As usual, good colors and detail lines.
The only thing I'd say could be different is there's a bit too much spacing between the teeth, though that's a hard part to do, especially on short time.

One of my aims here was to make this drawing quickly, so I didn't make all the details and corrections, otherwise I'd draw this for several days

Indeed, yeah, I'm kinda a perfectionist. The only things I'll draw quickly are props and trees. Otherwise I just can't stop working on something until it looks "right" in my head.
Anyway, interesting stuff.
