"You're just wasting my time"
A sketch which became a less sketchy drawing. Here's David as a husky. I'm still in a battle with myself over his anthro version - I like his fox version, but husky would fit him nicely as he's quite tall (and foxes aren't that tall, I suppose) and has blue eyes.
Also this drawing is about one small side universe I have in mind, about the good old 20s. That's why he wears glasses here (usually he goes with contact lenses).

He reminds me of a professor I had in college who was super strict

I can say, here he really looks like a professor, and quite strict one for sure. But actually he has nothing to do with teaching in both universes (this one and the main one). He just looks this way.

The character looks pretty good here, well detailed with very posh clothing.
Normally this character has more of a happy or reluctant face though, and this version seems a bit more annoyed, or super serious.
Definitely interesting job making him look like he's from a long time ago with the old fashioned clothing (and small details like the old school pocket watch) and also the usual sepia tone and grainy photo style on the background.

He's usually quite serious and silent with people he doesn't know, but once he knows them, he's the funniest guy in a group c:
Watch is actually an important accessory for him, I hope I'll show why eventually.

Of course, it's not a problem at all.
Indeed, I personally think I prefer the friendlier versions; but it's your character and you should take it to where you think the most interesting place for the character would be.
I look forward to seeing that, I think I gave one of my characters (Korbin) a similar watch, even though he lives way in the future.

He's still pretty friendly in this universe, too. Just not with everyone. With strangers he keeps the distance.
