It gives a lot more power and perspective in b&w. I like both but it's better for this king of photo to be b&w. i especially enjoy the fact that there is a right turn

I like this one better than the colour version. It is too dark a picture for the colours to really have any meaning, so b/w is perfect.

To elucidate, because I love my own words, the contrast, especially where the dark clouds are trying to hide the bright light, is much better suited to greyscale.

Plus, everything seems much more stark in this one. The vertical poles against the water, for example.

Excellent! I think this is a much more powerful and moody image in B&W. I like both versions, but I think I prefer this one over the color version. Very, very nicely done!
