This person wants to be free. The dreams like birds fly away from the cage. However, those dreams are still connected to the person's body... the further they fly, the more the body hurts, being ripped by the birds. Having dreams while bieng in a cage is wonderful but hurts at the same time.

What a lovely POV, I didn't see it like that! I really adore the part about the birds ripping the person apart, them representing dreams. I think your view represents disappointment in dreams when they go wrong.... very sad and Β eloquently written.Β

Watching the birds from inside the cage gives the illusion of freedom. While I believe some escapism is healthy, this little guy warns us not to take it too far.
It reminds me of a phrase I heard once....I cant remember who said it or if this is how it goes exactly but here it is.
"If youΒ exist only watching others lives unfold, you are not living. You are dead"

It reminds me of The nightmare before Christmas, with it's style and theme. I love it.

I can feel it being lighter than the last one but I couldn't have figured out it's about wrongly dealing with problems.

It being the first time suprises me somehow, which is interesting in its own way.

It makes me sad that however many birds they get, they won't truly be free from the cage. Really reminds me of how some people wrongly deal with problems.

What a lovely comment, I agree it's about people resorting to unhealthy methods of escaping the symptoms of their troubles.
