Description "The narrow path had opened suddenly onto the edge of a great black lake. Perched atop a high mountain on the other side, its windows sparkling in the starry sky, was a vast castle with many turrets and towers." 
This is my first try to illustrate a fragment from a book. As you can see, the book is "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone" - I didn't choose it, just wanted to participate in my first illustrators contest. Really not sure about composition, but I wanted to draw a lot of stars and sparkling windows, to make it feels a bit more magical ^^''

Not exactly black, more like dark bluish grey, but yes, it's colored pastel paper)
I love this moment in Harry Potter so much, it's making me believe in magic ^__^'

Thank you so much! ^^ I'm thinking about rereading HP, may be in second part of this autumn, when I will be back from my travels) But now there are my own adventures coming ahead, so there is no time for cosy blanket&hot chocolate reading, and I think this is the only way to read HP, when you are not nine years old anymore ^^"
