Description
North and just south of Khalren, tuga descended from earlier mammoth migrations are quite abundant. On these dry islands, the grass specialized teeth of the little mammoths help them make ends meet and appears to have helped them stave off Palaeoloxodont competition. There are few trees here, so they have more to fear from titan crows, but no other large mammals are present, so they face no grazing competition. These mammoths generally live a peaceful life, and with a population in the thousands between the many islands, there is no present concern for their survival.
