Dren, upcoming xenomorph queen from my story.

The little runty sister of Firkin and Amsel.

Dren possess unmatched intelligence for what she lacks to her siblings. Dren was hand reared by the biologists who were working with the xeno pathogen/ DNA/ blackgoo left behind on Planet 4. And with such, became very socialized among humans, and had to capacity to learn language.

The lower sweeping branches of her crown are connected by muscle/ tissue, capable of either folding in for more aerodynamic sleek, and protective form, but also capable of flaring outward -much like a cobra, to appear larger, or for posturing.
