A new comiccon, a second chance for my Nina Hopkins cosplay, yay!
And I had problems just like it happened the first time I tried to cosplay like her. The bad cosplay day curse continues! Hurrah.
-I carried my glasses this time, yay! But my fluffy curled ponytail deflated too soon in that super cold and wet day, dammit! Why??? I need to re-evaluate my haircare products, my hair is too flat and fine to hold the curl.
-When I washed my waistcoat the ruffles were all messed up and of course I couldn't iron them... and the woman who sold me when I started customizing it said the ruffles would hold the washing machine. Guess what? It wasn't true, so I had to buy other ruffles and sew them back on the waistcoat. Off to a great start.
-I decided to cosplay like Black Butler characters in a Harry Potter gathering, because it was in a very cool and ancient looking location, so there was almost 0% chances to see others of my same fandom... but my friend graciously decided to cosplay like Sebastian for that occasion to help me so this isn't a big drawback.
-As soon as I started taking photos with my friend we got an annoying person asking us if we had an authorization to take photos. THE FUCK? That Harry Potter themed comiccon always allowed to take pictures so I was pissed off right off the bat (like you just pull my chain, not nice) and on their website this new rule didn't appear, so who the hell are you to tell me what to do?!? Then than person 'allowed' us to take pictures of each other (like a king who gives a permission to us commoners, such a big gift thank you!) but we couldn't take photos of strangers and similar.
You know what? That's fine, I already don't post (for my choice) underage cosplayers when I can, but if you annoy me like that I'm not going to post anything at all. Your loss, not mine! And now get the fuck off and let me live!
No jokes guys, I'm still bitter even after months. The whole point of a comic convention with cosplayers in it is TO HAVE PICTURES OF YOURSELF TAKEN. And you don't allow it?!? I'm not making any money out of these pictures, they are just for passion!
By the way I was so bitter and annoyed the fun was already over for me, and we barely started. Hats off to my friend who did her best to cheer me up, but I was really pissed off.
Since I couldn't take other people's photos be ready for some more shots of me. So unluckily you won't see other cosplayers but me and my friend in this location, and it wasn't by my choice.
