Life always seems to be full of those little moments when something catches your eye and you just want to get out your camera and take a photo of that moment to keep as a memory. For me, this photo represents one of those "snapshots" of life.
You said you took the photo while you were walking on the street, and when I look at this, I can definitely feel the spontaneity. It's unpretentious, yet meaningful. At first glance, it appears to be just an everyday scene - there's an ordinary car and an ordinary street - yet somehow it feels special too. It's particularly interesting how the cat almost seems to be posing for the camera - he looks like he's just about to turn towards the viewer, but not quite. Also, animals are much harder to photograph than humans, so it's great that you managed to catch him in this position!
The use of black and white in this photo is effective - I compared it to the colour version and this one definitely makes the cat's cuteness and fluffiness stand out more (like a cloud - as you mentioned). The composition in general is quite good; I'm not a photographer myself, but as a suggestion maybe you could experiment with different lines, angles and viewpoints to create an even more original shot.
Keep up the good work!

well, i shoot in the Tv mode - that is i choose shatter speed and apperture is set automatic by the camera. It's more comfortable for me this way - to be on alert and catch the moments like this.

yeah! He was incredible! he's by no means homeless. Looked like he just decided to have a stroll outside and we really met him strolling along the sidewalk, then he out of the sudden jumped on the car when he saw us and heard us saying that he's beautiful... and started posing on a car!!

This cat looks gorgeous. I love the black and white effect, it almost adds a 'grunge' look to the entire shot.

yeah! converting colored shots to b&w has it's bonuses over shooting b&w from the beginning
thank you!
