the fanart is great. the distro sux. each release is slower. it startx remembering me a mac because of how it looks like...
try archlinux. its also easy if u follow the begginners guide from wiki.

this is just a wallpaper for a distribution that I like.
even if I use debian for 5 years, I tried and still try and work on it.
archilinux ... I tried that and it is a very complete and fast distro.

i was using fedora, but i need virtual machines and there was a bug with kernel headers. i didnt want to recompile or switch to ubuntu just because of VirtualBox.

with debian you can install virtual machines with open-vm-tools.
with fedora you can use KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) supports fully virtualized guests.

Well ... after opening the terminal package installed vsftp

sudo apt-get install vs[link]
Once finished edited with vim (or your favorite published) configuration file:

cd / etc / vs[link] / vs[link]
PS: Some installations vs[link] write the file directly in / etc, just check

anonymous_enable = NO
local_enable = YES
= YES write_enable
anon_upload_enable = YES
Now restart the service. Also from terminal type:

sudo / etc / init.d / vs[link] restart
We installed our ftp now enable you (Cristian in my case)
