I guess you could consider this the companion piece to this: [link]I don't think I'm supposed to want them to be together, but a part of me is like, "Come on, Miska! So what if he's a homicidal android who wants domination over your mind and body? He's hot!" And then I feel ashamed, because that's such a Twilight mentality.
It's so weird to be submitting something completely traditional--and in color! Or submitting anything, for that matter, but I digress. I'm sort of torn about how it turned out. I really love the outlining/inking, to the point that I may ink everything traditionally rather than in the computer, even when I color digitally. There's more of an organic feel to it.
But in regards to the coloring, I'm not sure I care for colored pencils. The colors I had were rather limited for what I wanted/needed, which is why Miska's eyes are green rather than hazel and Mal's hair is more gray. It was a nice change of pace, and I may do more drawings in colored pencils, but I don't think I'd make a permanent switch.

Life has been wonderful. Sure, I get kicked and tossed and I do have my share of troubles, but at least I'm putting up with this along side the woman I love, so the problems are not that big, really.

if you want to do more traditional art i have a good tip!there are these markers that are specific for profesional drawings
