Compared to most other cartoons that Nick does, this show is more for older kids and adults. Most of the other
cartoons don't have the level of violence that the turtle show does. For me, the more adult themes at times,Β
the better the show is. Of course I didn't approve of Splinter dying.Β

I agree, and when they make the show seem to be "More for bigger kids," I seem to enjoy it more... even when its sad. Although Splinter dying destroyed me inside, I acually really liked the episode on the level that I don't think younger kids could...

The story was better than all the random cartoons on Nick now. It's a shame they put it on Nicktoons now...shm!! Guess they don't want kids be too serious

I definitely love this series, but I can't stand Nickelodeon what so ever. This is literally the only show I can watch (I can stand the loud house, but still...) I can't believe it's on nicktoons either... this is more of a big kid show.

Yeah, I've gotten all the Nick DVD's, plus LOADS more. Just a heads up though, the 2012 episodes are slightly out of order... (2003 is extremely out of order.) Β Just a heads up

Honestly I have never seen a supposed "Kids show" be this dark nor violent, as you have stated, so I just can't understand why this is considered a kid show....Β
