"Why did you bring along a pair of shoes?" You asked pointing at the black box he asked you to hold. "Tetsu asked me about them." He yawned.

"Tetsu is gonna be there! That means Kagami is gonna be there too!" You smiled. "Oi. You're mine. Bakagami isn't going to take you from me." Aomine said leaning down and kissing you.

Time Skip

"Nice color too..." Kagami said looking at the shoes you handed him. "Fine... I'll give it to you if you win a one_on one." Aomine said spinning a ball on his index finger.

"This should be interesting." you thought to yourself. "Ne (n/n)-chan. Take care of my jacket." Aomine said wrapping his jacket around you. You put your arms through the sleeves and he Zipped it up.

Before he went onto the court he pecked your lips. "Go get him babe." You smirked. "The only one who can beat me is me." He said walking off to the court. You stay there snuggling into his warm jacket breathing in his scent.

"Momoi-san told me. He still seems to be that same around you (y/n)-san." Kuroko said. His lack of presence didn't work on you. "The same? What do you mean?" You said confused.

"Well when we were in Teiko, he always had a smirk on his face. Not a cocky one but a real kind hearted smirk. Whenever Aomine-kun is around you, that smirk is always there." Kuroko said.

"Well. Momoi-san didn't tell you this but, I broke up with him the day before the Winter Cup. We had a pretty heated argument, he said some things that made me go off on him and tell him it was over." You said snuggling into his jacket.

"At the time, I hung around Kagami because Aomine had kept saying no to hanging out. But when I stopped talking to him because I knew he wouldn't want to be with me, I just went straight to Kagami.'

"The day before the tournament I was hanging out with Kagami playing basketball when Aomine came to the court to play himself."

Flashback

"So this is who you've been blowing me off with these last couple of weeks." Aomine said glaring at Kagami. "What do you mean blowing you off!?" You growled. "Why are you getting all defensive! That's what you were doing!" Aomine growled.

"Just shut up if you don't know anything!" You yelled. "Come on Kagami-kun. We're done here." You said grabbing the ball. Before you could take another step Aomine spoke. "Are you gonna go fuck your new boyfriend~"

You stopped right in your tracks and turned around glaring at him. You felt your eyes starting to burn from the tears threatening to spill. "Excuse me?" He looked taken back.

Not once in your entire relationship since Teiko had he seen you cry. "I've only been hanging out with Kagami-kun because my own boyfriend never wanted to be around me!" You cried. "(n/n)-chan I-" "Its (l/n) to you now!" You yelled.

"But why? I gave you that nickname." He said. "Maybe you did, but that was when we were together. Now we're over." You said walking away with Kagami leaving Aomine with a guilty feeling in his chest.

"Sumimasen (y/n)-san. I didn't know." Kuroko said. "No its fine. If I said that while Aomine was around he'd get that guilty look on his face and be all depressed again." You said.

You felt yourself getting dizzy and your vision started to get a little hazy. "(y/n)-san? Are you alright?" Kuroko asked. "Oh. Don't worry. I'm fine, just a little tired." You said pulling off a smile.

"Oh looks like they're done." Kuroko said getting up. "How did it go?" You just simply watched as the 3 of them talked before Kuroko and Kagami left for their game against Kaijō.

"Oi. You okay?" Aomine said snapping you out of your daze. "Yeah. Well we should go too. I'm getting a little sleepy from skipping my nap." You said. "You and me both." He chuckled taking your hand and walking out of the courts.

Once the 2 of you got home, you collapsed onto your knees at the front door. "Oi! (y/n)! What's wrong!?" Aomine said holding you. "I don't... feel... To good." You whimpered.

You had felt pretty icky since this morning but tried your best to look fine. Aomine got the keys out of his pocket and quickly opened the door. He picked you up and ran inside closing the door with his foot.

He set you in the room and left to go get some things. He came back with a bowl of water, towel, medicine, more blankets, and some food. "Wow. I'm surprised you can carry so many things at once." You giggled coughing.

"Hey. Don't talk and just relax." He said laying you down and tucking you in. Once he had to tucked in, he put the towel in the water then set it on your forehead.

"Aomine. You didn't squeeze the water out did you?" You giggled taking the towel off and squeezing it over the bowl getting rid of extra water. "I really suck at everything don't I?" He chuckled.

"No. You just don't know how to do this because you're always the one this is getting done for." You smiled handing the towel back to him. You laid back down and he set the towel on your forehead.

"I heard you and Tetsu talking about it." He said. "Sorry." You said. "No. It's okay. It helps me remember that I could lose you at any given moment." He said holding your hand.

"Who else could put up with you besides Satsuki and I?" You laughed. "Nobody. All I need in life is you and basketball." He said kissing your hand. "I love you Aho-mine." "I love you too (n/n)-chan." He said.
