...instead of a perch, that thing she's sitting on. So I bet there's a huge smile under that muzzle. ;DAnyway, this idea came from a picture I found in flickr (sorry, I didn't copied the link) of an actual japanese gothic girl costumed in something like this during a con. There was actually a couple of them, so I'm wondering if this comes from an anime, manga, if it's the look of a band or something that came out from a movie... anyway if you've seen anything like this post a link plz!!

Yeah, it is based on a Dir en Grey costume. It's one of the more prominent outfits, with the red hair and the face mask. I just can't remember which member it is.

The cosplay costume looks a lot like Marvel Comics character Penance ( [link] ). I think she had that muzzle in her first appearances in Generation X...

I saw too the photo. there was n o the single glove, and htey had their mask in shiny vinil or PVC, with red hairs.

As for this, I love the looks of the gag and the rest of the gear. Although you probably should have the chains droop slightly to give them more of a sense of weight. It's actually nearly impossible to have a straight chain (other than a vertical one) without it being tighter than a guitar string. Interestingly, the curve they form has a mathematical name. It's not a Parabola, but a Catenary.

Sorry, it's been a while and you probably found out since then, but I think it's not an anime, but a cosplay of the late singer and guitarist called hide ( [link] ). I'm pretty sure it's supposed to look like him, from the time he had long red hair. The outfit isn't the same, but I think they got the idea from him.
