i want a siberian husky, but my mom pulls the, "we can't have dogs in this house, when our landlord has a HUGE....chihuaha, lol. and whe i say, "they have a dog!", she says, your not responsible enough." when is she going to admit that she DOESN'T LIKE DOGS?

But I wish you good luck in your get-a-dog quest.
And, if you live in an apartment, Siberian Huskies may not be the best choice. They can get pretty loud; they often howl instead of bark. And, originally bred for pulling sleds, they pack a lot of energy.
I'd suggest asking your mom what kind of dog she would want if you were to get one. Then work your way up from there.
I mean, it's a lot better than no dog.
Also, if your landlord has a Chihuaua, odds are that he likes small dogs, not big ones. So if the problem is your landlord's permission, try asking if a smaller dog would be allowed. Again, it's a lot better than no dog at all.

not an apartment, rented house, it's big, a good amount of space for a siberian.
and he said he doesn't mind the size, plus she wants to keep him outside of the house. and to never bring it inside. so im just going to get a dog when i am living in my own home.
