YES I KNOW ITS CRAPPY. PROBABLY THE WORST THING IVE DRAWN. but lemme help my butt-hurts, 'kay?so, as you can see, im pretty sick of wolves being praised like this. seriously, people, have you loved your beluga sturgeon today??? didn't think so. these animals (most of them, with the exception to the tiger) are not usually considered aesthetically pleasing and therefore ignored. wolfaboos, if you want to help anything you have to help those actually close to extinction. i know there will be flames. what can i say, the flames are like free amusement. idiots in action. they make me rofl. also, to those of you who "study wolves", dont kid yourself, im sure half the people who really do arent on here flaming.

I love wolves a lot, and because of it I'm always labeled as a wolfaboo... I don't worship wolves like they're gods. I think they're beautiful creatures, and if they ever became extinct I would be sad, but right now they are of least concern so there is no need to worry about them.
I am much more worried about animals such as rhinos, African wild dogs, and also my favorite, Lynxes. Especially Iberian Lynxes, they are critically endangered and need our help much more than wolves.

Cougars, cheetahs, African wild dogs, chimpanzee, just to name a very few. There are so many gorgeous animals out there that need our help. Sure, wolves are nice. But they don't deserve the main focus.

Well I need a color scheme... try Photobucket.com. xD Or make your own on Polyvore (it takes a while to get used to it, but I use it and I make some pretty good stuff). Or if you have Photoshop, use that (I don't, so that's why I use Polyvore, lol.)

BTW. About the wolves, they are actually making a pretty good comeback. I mean, they're still something to worry about, but all of these other animals need help as well.

those poor things. i know the golden toad doesn't really count as a frog, but that is an example of a recently extinct amphibian. and they were soo pretty!!

Golden toads were gorgeous. My favorite frog is the Coroboree frog. It's black and yellow and measures only an inch in length. I think it's endangered too, not extinct yet thank goodness.
There are just so many beautiful animals that no one cares about because they're considered 'gross' or 'creepy'. I would personally prefer to hold a frog than get mauled by a wolf, lol!

the cheetah, the thresher shark, the harpy eagle, the pangolin, the whooping crane, the cassowary, the Russian arrowana, the golden cat, Indus river dolphins, thread snake, and a lot more endangered animals are hardly seen around! don't stress about tigers, they are already really getting a lot of attention.

I believe the dodo isn't the best example for animals that have already died. Those guys died out long before the endangered species act.
How about Pink Dolphins? Those died out fairly recently.

yes, i definitely agree with you on that. in my free time i like to research extinct animals. i hated using the dodo but it was so generic i thought it would have been an easily recognizable icon.... good call on the pink dolphins though!

I personally like Iberian lynxes more than the Canadian lynx, but both are still cool.

yes the iberian lynxes are awesome!i just figured it would be hard to draw them really fast, because of all the spots and patterns. theyre so pretty! its a shame what has happened to them. there are less than the canadian lynx...
