It was a chalk brush for photoshop. I think DA has it. It’s one of the first links.

Not really, just watching One pan man (one punch man), I've made a new study thing though, so I'll be doing lots more studies!

They don't take much time, reallly fun to do! You should do them. Especially if you don't know what to draw C:

So? Do it traditionally. I love watercolours myself, or acrylics, or acrylic gauche is fun, or gauche, or pencils, or charcoal is great fun (first sharpen it, using the dust spread it on the paper and make the paper grey. Then use white and black to create the 3D shape of it.
It is all in the shadow and light. 100%. You could easily do this in any of the mediums I linked.

Stop blaming your tools, or everything. Knuckle down and practice. You won't get good from blaming your tools or wallowing in pity

I'm not exactly blaming my tools.. anyone can draw with anything. I guess what I'm trying to say is:
I don't have PROFESSIONAL tools.
I will draw the materials, although i have no idea how.

You don't need them though. I'm quite happy to draw with a hb pencil. Its nice having fancy stuff, but I quite often draw with a cheap pad and a pencil.

Thanks! I made a new study plan, 8x things every day. Some days will be easier than others, some will be tricky, but I'm hoping if I keep cycling through it I'll learn lots. Today was materials because they're hella fun!
