when i was 13, my brother introduce me to a game called "counter-strike". this is the first time i encountered FPS game and i'm instantly fell in love with it.so it continues. when i'm 15, i began to play "battlefield". and i'm began to interested with all military equipment in that game. since that, i'm curious about all military-related stuffs. and now, i'm joining a military forum. with all experiences i got there, i decided to tag myself "military enthusiast". and that tag incredibly boosts my self-esteem

but. that feel doesn't lasts long
some moments ago, a 14-years old girl gave me critique. and, she told me about 'trigger discipline / trigger safety'
then i was kicked up from my daydream.
so i asked myself. "what kind of 'military enthusiast' that doesn't know about the very basic attitude of holding gun?"
suddenly i realize how stupid i am. i feel that whole time i spent on the discussion and the shooting range was no use at all. i thought my life now was an epic fail
ehm.. by the way, i try to make some changes to my coloring style (again? yeah.. i know, i'm inconsistent). so if there are anyone viewing this, PLEASE~! leave critique, suggestion, or advice. anything so ican improve.. i'll be very appreciate that. thank you.

True! There are several disciplines or very important basics when handling any firearm. Examples: You must keep your trigger finger away from the trigger until you're ready to shoot; you must not point your gun except only to what you're going to shoot; you must treat any firearm like it is loaded.
That being said, this is a nice artwork. Teruskan usaha!

Im tempted to poitn out even thought she isnt having her hand on the trigger some might complain that the gun is still pointing (Arguably) towards the soldier.

The angle of the right hand and the pistol of the girl is a little bit off, that her right hand pointing at the soldier's right shoulder while pistol pointing at his left shoulder.
Draw boxes in layout will help a lot in drawing these complex objects.

As for the 'trigger safety' thing, it may be basic but it doesn't mean you're not a gun enthusiast or an epic fail. It's something you didn't know, that's all. Trust me, I didn't know about it until I was 13 when i started NERFing and such, and by then i was pretending to be a gunner already XD so yeah, don't beat yourself up

Overall, I like your style a lot. Especially how you colored her hair, it just feels like it flows like real hair in this image. As for the "epic fail", I don't think its that bad at all. There was something you didn't know, which may seem basic, but at the same time you were willing to listen to the critique and you've learned from your experience, there just may still be more things to learn down the line. Keep it up. : D

also I found the image humorous. i like the concept. i would offer more help but i am pitiful with digital drawing and espically anime techniques.
