So! This is another story for the last-minute file!

In a nutshell: Within 15 hours I whipped this up for my most last minute costume yet 😅

I started around 11pm the night before, slept for about two hours around 5am and then kept working until around 4pm Saturday, making it to the convention at 6:30.

I already had scale pants, boots from another cosplay, and a black pleather vest. I used gold sharpie on the vest to create Jason Momoa's chest/abdomen tattoos. I then cut and glued foam together for the bracers and had a spare sheet of Eva which I used for the trident. Had to run to the hardware store up the street for rubber sealant spray, gold spray paint and a dowel and got everything painted just a few hours before leaving lol.

And yes that's my natural hair. I wish it hadn't puffed up so much. It was supposed to curl and stick together more.

Overall though, it came out better than I could have imagined~

I really wish I could meet Jason Momoa while wearing this. As a Native Hawaiian, I admire him so much for making it big

On a side note, I had not originally planned to make or cosplay this at Kawaii Kon. I knew I wanted to do something similar at one point, but definitely was just going to wear either my Catwoman or Joker last Saturday. Thus I'd like to thank my friend in London for making this possible

Basically if we hadn't been chatting and showing each other our rooms, I would have never been motivated to clean, and if I didn't clean, I DEFINITELY wouldn't have crafted anything because I wouldn't have a seat or table to work on or access to my supplies.

All of a sudden I could see my floor and I could sit in my chair for the first time all year and I said "hey... I can actually make something!" *Looks at the clock* "it's only 11pm, let's do it!"
