Much better icon. I like this one far better.(tried to fix it with shading. looks worse now : D)

You might want to work on the eyes a bit. XD The irises are a bit close together that it makes you cross-eyed. (Unless that's what you're going for owo) Some shadows in the chin and neck area might help too.

With shadows, all you really have to do is observe where they fall. Eventually, you kinda get used to it and know where it goes.
