I made the line during last week live stream.
Two weeks ago I realised that my project for a pegasus oc-pony was getting old. I had a character, with a name, and a backstory (oh gosh, I love to write loooong backstories xD ) , but I did'nt have any idea for a design... so I kinda abandoned her :c But, I recently found something ! So here she is <3
To resume her backstory :
Here name is Twist Shine, but as a singer, her name is Singstar Shine (her natural mane color is green). She's a pegasus born in Manehattan. She grew in this big city with her father, an earth pony called Moovehoof who used to make spectacle in Briddleway. Twist Shine's mother, Chanson Douce, worked in Canterlot Opera House as a soprano, so she wasn't at home very often. The little mare decided to be "a famous musician" when she was five, and she started violin lessons. Twist Shine wasn't really good at it, and she gave up,after three years. She lost her self-confidence, she was sure that she was not made to make music.
At the age of ten, Twist's teacher wanted her to sing Manehattan's anthem for the school spectacle. She refused, and her friend Lisa took her place. Unfortunately, Lisa was sick the day before the spectacle. The teacher had no choice, she had to cancel this part of the spectacle, but she was really anxious, because the mayor had planned to see the representation. Twist Shine really liked her teacher, and she didn't want to let her down, so she decided to sing. While she was singing, the little pony pony felt something new, there was something magical in her voice... At the end of the song, everypony started to clap their hooves. Sundendly, a white light appear around Twist's flanks, and when it diseapeared, there was a cutie mark.
Twist Shine became an Equestrian-famous singer as she wished when she was a filly, and she still dreams of singing with Saphire Shores, or the Countess Coloratura.
Singstar usually make pop or rock, but she adores classical music.

Oh, Twist Shine is such a cutie. That's really cool what you made with her backstory, it is totally reasonable to question destiny. Interesting she'd be called DNA mane
In terms of art, I think you're really improving on the proportions. And the way you draw wings are also very adorable.

Thanks <3 The original backstory was too long to be put here x3 Well... her twisted mane made me think of a double helix structure, I wanted her to have a twisted mane to match her name, so the idea for the hair cut was the first one to appear. (Funny, had the idea during the ATGCTACG... Sorry, this is a terrible joke x3 )
