Kappa is always joking and can rarely be taken seriously; he's actually shocked when he is. He's sociable, but he's also strange and loud--obnoxious even. He can be a little too friendly, often resulting in flirtation-- though he tries to keep things appropriate if the other person doesn't seem interested.He can be kind and gentle when he needs to be, mostly around children or the emotionally distressed. That being said, he's quite sensitive to another person's mood. He likes to know what's on people's minds and might pester someone if they're upset. He doesn't give up easily, but if person doesn't want to talk about it, he will respect their feelings and change the subject.
He can keep levelheaded in a dangerous situation. Due to being one of the oldest kids in his family, he had to keep cool and collected if something happened.

He was born to a rather large family, mostly extended. He's got younger cousins that he looks after on occasion and must entertain. Not a lot of bad things have happened to him in his life, so he can't really complain. He has led a fairly sheltered life with his family and has been needed for chores and such. His younger cousins have become old enough to help out with the children and chores, so he's recently gained more free time to roam the oceans and nearby towns.

He believes that the Tibumeru species came from a Kappa (from Japanese mythology) and human offspring, as does the rest of his family. Such legends have been passed through his family for generations.

He is a crab-eating frog! otherwise known as the saltwater frog.

He actually wouldn't make it on the beach on his own, as the weight of the plate in his back would break his legs (already happened once actually D: ). He usually hangs around kelp forests~ really pretty locations where fish flourish and is a great place for hunting food. I'll see if I can get to a starter once I get back from college~
