Holy crap, this came out faster and better than it had any right to.I wanted to reveal a little more about Vivica's character with this piece, because parts of her personality I've revealed so far - her sadism, superiority complex, and detached amusement with everything around her, for example - are only one side of the coin. Vivica is also the most artistically creative of my cast, at least when it comes to music, and two hundred years of practice have given her plenty of time to compose (she also sees her anatomical "studies" as an art, but that's somewhat more debatable, particularly if you're the one being examined). Music brings out what I'll call a somewhat softer side of Vivica, and that's what I wanted to show here.
I also wanted to do some sick-ass blood effects, so.

Hey, thanks! The blood didn't come out exactly as I'd imagined it, but then nothing ever does.
And yeah, this was a fun piece to do precisely because it took Vivica out of her usual element - she's definitely not what you'd call "nice".

Hoy, she looks so content... Like it! What I think is interesting is that at first I didn't see the ragged dress or the blood as, well, blood, because in a picture like this you wouldn't expect these things. I mean to say there is more to this than meets the eye, and I like it^^

It's really cool that you had that experience in looking at it. I was very much going for something atypical, so it helps that she's pretty atypical herself - certainly the type of person to think that soulful music and huge, splashing gouts of blood go well together.
