This was supposed to be a pin-up but when I started rendering I loved the pose too much. It looked too epic to just be a pin-up on a plain background so I added a complete background and some further effects for it!
Since I learned a lot about painting feathers for this piece I'll probably come out with a feather/wing tutorial soon as well, based on this image.
