artfight is almost upon us which means its TIME FOR NEW REFS !!(jk its always been time for new refs ESPECIALLY FOR AARON look at his old one ,, its been 2 years its so outdated)so more refs are coming !! definitely one for seb (it's lined), likely one for astor, maaaaybeee one for carmen??? idk hers is kinda okay but i'll remake it if im feelin it,,, also i'd like to do wolf forms for everyone and also maybe poke at some of my other ocs ?
BUT YEAH ! otl i hope u guys dont mind ,, i get kinda nervous about uploading stuff that isnt digital paintings oh man
SO CHANGES ! i removed his skull (technically its still part of his design but now is optional ! basically adding it is kinda like another costume, same as drawing him in any mask) and changed his colours around a bit to go with that, added the bandana, changed his shoes a lil?? , added the lil purple bit under his eye which isnt tECHICALLy part of his design and moreso just my style,, AND ALSO I FIGURED OUT HOW TO ACTUALLY DRAW HIM JSKFJSKDJKSAJKDJKSFAJK i've literally actively avoided drawing him for 2 years bc i couldnt get his shapes right BUT NOW !!! here he is

anD SAAAME OMG i s2g most of my year is just spent Waiting for artfight,,, i love it so much !! B')) AND IKR ,,, although then again i always draw Way too much and get completely burnt out for like 6 months sO ITS PROBABLY FOR THE BEST THAT ITS ONLY ONCE A YEAR OMG i would die tbh

i just have like. -2 motivation to actually draw my own characters. i lov drawing other peoples' kitties too much!! and art fight is an EXCUSE for that!!!!

SAME,,, although tbh for me it’s moreso that i think wAY TOO MUCH about how i draw my own ocs and drawing commissions/trades and that it’s pretty relaxing to draw free art for other people ? ITS SUPER NICE like u have the incentive of points and also the poSSIBILITY TO GET ART BACK and its so Good

commissions are AWESOME because you get points / usd for the art, but there's pressure for it to be Really Good, so you don't really experiment or try something new with those -- ya gotta Stick To The Basics, give the gud people what they payed for
with art trades and art fight tho it's like... you (usually) get art in return, so there's a reward element to it, but you can be wild and crazy as sHIT! and it's a surprise for the recipient, too, which is EXTRA fun!!! i cant wait ughhhhh
