Hoo boy! Finally I can present to you: Fassbender!Magneto
(Fassneto? Magbender?)For some insane reason this took over twice as long as Charles, mostly because I kept going back and changing his face, expression, adding his hand, gah! One minute he's looking rather tortured, then angry, now.. somewhere in between I hope? Intense? Constipated?
His face has literally lost all meaning. I literally can't see it as a face anymore. It's just.. blobs of colour. Hopefully good-looking colour.
I probably could keep going back and changing it forever but I finally just had to say, "Enough! Move on, girl!"
I have to say though, merging this painting with Charles' looks just ... awesome. But I'm not putting that up yet. Need more X-Men...

Photoshop as usual, hard round brush as usual. Multiple refs, which may account for half the reason it was so hard to get even a semi-good likeness
Also as usual, no stealing...!!!

What i dont like about Apocalypse, in the new X-Men:Apocalypse movie, is that he thinks he is the one who controlls evolution. He is way to overpowered. He may have all that power and he may be the first Mutant ever but he is also a giant idiot.
Me:" Do you hear me Apocalypse. You have no idea about evolution. You are a big idiot. And dont you dare to call yourself Apocalypse and your pawns Horsemen. You are nothing against the true Horsemen, who are Nephilim (Darksiders Reference). Nephilim are Hybrids between Angels and Demons. They are not Mutants, do you even understand that? The Apocalypse is just an earth Name for the End War between Angels and Demons.
You may be the first Mutant but you are no God. And you also stole Powers from other mutants (which is very disgusting). I repeat you are not the one who controlls evolution, your Body is still human. And you dont have any idea what it means to be a human. Being a human is not about evolution and strengh it is about the state of the mind, heart and soul. You are nothing more than a true Monster. Dont dare to answer me before you understand my explanation. "
Me:" Magneto/Erik, i really respect you but you are also wrong about humans. I know that we humans can be real cruel and monstrous to mutants, but not all humans are like that. There are humans on the world who wouldnt mind that you would live with them in peace on Earth. The humans, who are afraid of mutants, are only afraid because they dont understand you mutants. Instead of eliminating humans, you and every other mutant must try to explain to humans why you are on Earth and that mutants are not much different then humans. Please dont hate humans, i beg you. And please dont follow Apocalypse only because he thinks that mutants should rule the Earth. Apocalypse is just a giant idiot! No one is in controll of the Earth. Humans, mutants, animals and plants are just guests on the Earth and not rulers. There are no rulers!
I know that you had a horrible life. Nazis?(dont know if that is right) killed your parents all because of a madman. Adolf Hitler was also a giant idiot like Apocalypse! I also hate what we humans do to the Earth in our Universe, because sometimes it is really so dumb that i really start to think that im the only human girl who acts like a true adult.
Please with your power you could show humans what they, and other mutants, can do to make the Earth healthy and beautiful. In a song of a Disney movie i heard the Phrase >What is a monster (you are no monster)/mutant and what is a human?< and that is a really good question?"
Please answer me, because i am terrible curious about your answer. I say it one last time that not all humans are bad.

VERY WELL SAID! Everything you said about Apocalypse and Erik/Magneto was all on the money! The problem with Erik was his childhood was hard the day he was taken from his parents - then when Shaw SHOT his mother - and then he became even worse after everything Shaw said to him about WE ARE THE FUTURE! What he needed to do is just listen to Xavier about how waging WAR on the humans and killing them was not the way to deal with them...it'll only just make it WORSE

I love, love, love the expression, I think it's wonderful the way it turned out.
What really makes me treasure this is the duality of the expression. I don't know if I'm crazy, but whenever I find an actor really good, is when I notice the split expression in their face in movie stills and so on.
Here, the side of his face in the light has a longing to it, a sadness, perhaps guilt, and so much inner conflict. The posture of his hand and the way his eyebrow arches makes it look like he is reaching for help, or comfort, or something else he doesn't realise yet.
The side of his face turned away in the greenish shading is more angry, frustrated, and has a cold demeanor to it.
The two sides make his face dynamic and alive, I am so amazed how you capture that. It's like his face is moving, saying things and reaching for the viewer all the while when I just look at it.

I love the blurred effect on the coin, it feels like it's actually moving towards me. The detail you put into the face is amazing, but I love the use of the contrasting colours in the background and how the light from it goes onto the character

Really good job on how the lighting reflects on his skin, clothes and hair. That's something I'm still getting to grips with myself (and not really succeeding quite yet XD), but you've done it masterfully here!
