My wall painting project is finally finished! Spent approx. 120 hours on it over the span of 5 weeks!

Done with acrylics, black and 4 different shades of grey.

The reference for the girl is a photograph from wildplaces, [link] (kindly permitted).

The words are from "House of Leaves" by Danielewski (idea I got from mybodyisacage, [link] - also kindly permitted).

Lyrics:
"Little solace comes
to those who grieve
when thoughts keep drifting
as walls keep shifting
and this (great) blue world of ours
seems a house of leaves
moments before the wind."

Ginkgo tree in my backyard as reference for the vine.
