My first time drawing a dragon from the httyd franchise, and what better dragon to draw than Toothless, our favorite night fury! I did this drawing as if it were in the time period after the third movie, where toothless would have had a black tail fin instead of red. I also didn't saturate the black very much because I didn't want to lose the detail! Inking this piece was especially nerve wracking, as I had already spent about 2 hours sketching/improving. I love him so much!!! 🥰
