This takes place in Star Wars The clone Wars AU where the ages of some of the characters are changed. In this world Asajj is younger than Ahsoka.
I was thinking this picture would take place during a story similar to the time, Ahsoka was framed for the Temple bombing. By this point Asajj escaped from Count Dooku and was trying to make her way as a Bounty hunter. At first he tried to capture us Ahsoka but the two of them later teamed up. Seeing how ahsoka's situation is similar to hers. Asajj feels a little bit of empathy for Ahsoka and decides to try and comfort her. But she isn't very used to being empathetic. So what she said sounded really mean.

I was thinking Asajj probably said something like " Don't worry when you realize no one cares about you life gets easier".

Ahsoka is thinking why would you say something like that? that's so mean and uncalled
